Seminar Discusses East-West Relations in the Arctic. Is It Deep Freeze?

U.S. Embassy Finland’s reception kicked off a seminar in Helsinki, under the title: “Deep Freeze? East-West relations in the Arctic.” Admiral Robert Papp,  U.S. Special Representative for the Arctic, sent his video greeting to the reception saying that he was “deeply impressed by Finland’s dedication to the Arctic Council.” German Ambassador to Finland Dorothee Janetzke-Wenzel,  Esko Aho, former Prime Minister, Executive Chairman of the Board, East Office of Finnish Industries, Juhani Talvia, Managing Director, North Zone, AIG Finland, Charge d’Affaires Susan Elbow, Raimo Valo, CEO, East Office of Finnish Industries, and all attended. The Deep Freeze seminar brought together senior-level participants from the world of politics, policy, business and media to discuss the future of the Arctic.
