The U.S. Embassy in Finland and the Finnish National Agency for Education continue their longstanding collaboration to strengthen and increase student, teacher, and administrator mobility between Finland and the United States through a program called the Transatlantic Classroom.

The Transatlantic Classroom program between upper secondary schools in Finland and the United States is designed for small-scale projects including virtual cooperation and/or short exchanges. The main objectives of this program are to increase the internationalization efforts of participating schools as well as develop critical competencies, such as English language skills.

The application must be sent by the municipality representing the upper secondary school(s).
