U.S. Embassy Helsinki celebrated America’s 239th Independence Day on Wednesday, June 17.  We welcomed over one thousand distinguished guests to the Wild West-themed party – an expression of the flourishing friendship and strong ties between our nations.  In addition, the party commemorated the 25th anniversary of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).  Among the guests were Finland’s political and business leaders, academicians and artists as well as representatives of the media, NGOs, and youth organizations.
